Eck Sr.
Eric Eck Sr. has more highway experience than anyone in town. Prior to
retiring from the highway department after nearly 30 years of service, he
was the deputy highway superintendent -- running the day to day operations
of the department.
Eric has an excellent rapport with each of the highway department employees and the full respect of the community. Prior to joining the highway department, he worked as the groundskeeper of the Granit Hotel after serving in the United States Navy. Eric will bring the openness, transparency and communication with the community that we havec missed for decades. Most recently, he was retained by the Town to manage the Alligerville Streambank repair after the current highway superintendent refused to work on the project. This project will repair damage that occurred more than four years ago.
Eric lives in Accord with his wife - his grown sons live nearby. This is his first run for public office.
