Democratic Candidate for Town Council
Lynn Archer

Lynn brings a perfect combination of people skills, entrepreneurial business experience, and management professionalism to our Town Board.  Aside from her duties as a hard-working member of our Town Board, Lynn serves as the Town’s liaison to the Assessor’s Office and the Environmental Conservation Commission. Since her tenure began in December 2007, Lynn has worked with the Supervisor and her colleagues on the Town Board in addressing recently-identified personnel and fiscal issues and has strongly advocated an open, non-partisan and common sense approach to making decisions for the benefit of our taxpayers and residents.

Lynn has owned and operated Archer Fine Art and Framing, a successful business in High Falls, since 2004.  Prior to fulfilling her dream of owning her own business, Lynn worked at one of the country’s largest financial services companies – starting as a secretary and working her way up to being a senior human resources executive responsible for the career development of more than 15,000 employees.

Lynn is an avid gardener and a skilled amateur artist.  She is a member of the High Falls Civic Association and the Rondout Valley Business Association, and supports the Rondout Valley Growers Association.  Prior to taking office on the Town Board, Lynn was a member of the Town’s Board of Assessment Review.
